Anyone can now check whether a store is ready for AI shopping agents, for free. We've launched four protocol validators:

Enter a URL and the results come back in seconds. It’s completely free, there's no signup and no email required.

Why we built them

Agentic commerce only works when agents can rely on what a store publishes. If a store's profile points to an endpoint that doesn't respond, the agent can't finish the purchase, and the shopper buys somewhere else.

The protocols are also new and changing quickly, and most teams implementing them have nothing to test against. We wanted a quick, neutral way for any brand, agency or platform to check its work, whether or not they use CorgiMaps. More stores that work correctly with agents is good for everyone building agentic commerce.

"The first question most brands ask about agentic commerce is whether they're actually set up correctly," said MK McGowan, co-founder and Head of GTM at CorgiMaps. "Now anyone can answer that in a few seconds, for free, and see exactly what to fix."

More than a profile check

Most checks stop at the profile or agent card, the discovery file a store publishes to tell agents what it supports. Ours start there and keep going. Each validator:

  • Fetches the store's profile and validates it against the protocol's published schema, showing exactly which fields fail.
  • Checks the capabilities the profile declares, such as naming rules and how extensions build on each other.
  • Calls every endpoint the profile declares and validates that it responds as expected.
  • Lists the tools an MCP or ONX server offers and checks each one against the specification.
  • Checks overall hygiene, such as HTTPS everywhere, a ping round trip, version formatting and the correct error for an unknown request.

Results appear as each check finishes, with a pass, warning or failure on every line and an overall score out of 100. A share link runs the check again fresh, so a developer and an ecommerce lead can look at the same result.

Safe to run on a live store

The validators only read. They never call a tool that changes data, never place a test order and never touch payment. Every request identifies itself with a clear user agent, and each site publishes a page explaining what its bot does and how to report a problem.

More protocols coming

UCP, ACP, MCP and ONX are where most of the activity is today. They won't be the last. We'll add validators as new protocols gain traction.
