CorgiMaps launches to help brands sell through AI shopping agents
CorgiMaps is live, connecting a brand's existing product, inventory and order data to UCP, ACP, ONX and MCP so AI agents can sell its products.

ATLANTA, June 18, 2026 – CorgiMaps today released its agentic commerce platform. Brands and manufacturers can now sell through AI shopping agents without rebuilding their commerce systems. A brand connects the data it already has, and CorgiMaps publishes the data structures and endpoints each protocol requires, starting with the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), the Order Network eXchange (ONX) and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Shopping is moving into AI
Shoppers already use AI to research and compare products before they buy. They ask ChatGPT, Gemini and other assistants which trail shoe suits a wide foot or which car seat fits a compact SUV, and they act on the answer.
Until recently, those answers came from scraped web pages and third-party listings. Prices went stale, discontinued products kept showing up, and the brand had no say in how its products were described.
Agentic commerce protocols change that. They let a brand publish its own catalog, pricing and availability directly to AI agents, and let those agents complete the purchase for the shopper.
Too many protocols for one team
There isn't one protocol. Google and OpenAI have each backed a different standard, and more are arriving from payments companies, commerce platforms and open-source groups. Each has its own endpoints, data formats and release schedule, and new versions land every month.
No one knows yet which approach will win, so brands need to be present in all of them. Building and maintaining each protocol in-house is a permanent engineering commitment, and most ecommerce teams are already stretched across their storefront, marketplaces, wholesale accounts and fulfillment partners.
One integration, every protocol
CorgiMaps sits between a brand's existing systems and the agents. Brands can:
- Connect existing data sources or upload files directly, and bring in products, inventory and orders.
- Turn on UCP, ACP, MCP and ONX, and publish protocol-compliant endpoints that agents use to discover products, build carts and check out.
- Validate each protocol end to end in a Sandbox environment, then promote to production.
- Send orders back into their existing order management and fulfillment workflows through order destinations and webhooks.
Everything is also available headlessly through the CorgiMaps API and MCP.
Nothing changes for the operations team. Orders placed by an agent arrive the same way every other order does.
"This is the biggest shift in how people buy since ecommerce went mobile, and it's still early enough that nobody knows what it will look like," said Jonathan Porter, co-founder and Head of Product & Engineering at CorgiMaps. "That's exactly why a brand can't pick one protocol and hope. Underneath, this is a data integration problem. Your products, prices and inventory live in systems that were never built to talk to AI agents. We built CorgiMaps so brands can connect what they already have and show up wherever their customers are shopping."
"Brands spend heavily controlling how they show up on their website, in marketplaces and in stores," said MK McGowan, co-founder and Head of GTM at CorgiMaps. "AI assistants are describing those same products right now, often from scraped data nobody at the brand approved. CorgiMaps puts the brand back in charge of its own catalog, in the place shoppers are now asking for recommendations."
CorgiMaps is available today at corgimaps.com. Brands can sign up, connect a data source and validate their first protocol in minutes.
