Industry veteran Alex Rhodeen joins CorgiMaps as go-to-market advisor
Alex Rhodeen, a founder with a successful exit and a longtime Atlanta startup advisor, joins CorgiMaps to help more brands go live.

ATLANTA, September 11, 2026 – CorgiMaps today announced that Alex Rhodeen has joined the company as go-to-market (GTM) advisor. Rhodeen brings experience across retail operations, last-mile logistics and building a company through to a successful exit. He'll help CorgiMaps accelerate its go-to-market and bring more brands onto the platform.
Background
Rhodeen served nine years in the US Army, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant, before moving into the private sector. At Lovesac, he led retail operations as the company grew revenue from $8 million to $54 million. He then co-founded Kanga, a last-mile delivery company, which was acquired by GEODIS in 2017.
Since then he has advised startups across the Atlanta ecosystem through ATDC, Georgia Tech's startup incubator. That's where he first worked with CorgiMaps co-founder Jonathan Porter, as an advisor to Porter's previous company, PorterLogic, a supply chain operations platform that was acquired in 2025.
Why now
Agentic commerce is moving from early experiments to a real sales channel. Brands want to show up in ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI assistants, and many are still working out where to start.
CorgiMaps spent the summer adding protocols, including A2A and AP2, and moving to the latest release of UCP. With the platform in place, the focus now is getting it in front of more brands and helping them go live. Rhodeen will work with the team on go-to-market strategy and on onboarding new customers.
"I've known Alex since 2020 when he advised PorterLogic through ATDC, and there's nobody I'd rather have helping us take CorgiMaps to more brands," said Jonathan Porter, co-founder and Head of Product & Engineering at CorgiMaps. "He's run retail operations, built and sold a logistics company, and he knows what it takes to get a new product in front of the right people."
"I've watched a lot of commerce technology come and go, and this one is real. Shoppers are already using AI to decide what to buy," said Rhodeen. "Most brands know they need to be there but don't know where to start. CorgiMaps gets them live without changing how they run their business, and I'm excited to help more brands get there."
"Alex has been on both sides of the table, running retail operations and selling to the people who run them," said MK McGowan, co-founder and Head of GTM at CorgiMaps. "That perspective is exactly what we need as we bring CorgiMaps to more brands."
